As is the custom of the land, we had burgers and then spent a long time trying to park at the fairground early in order to get shaved ice for the children. It seemed like the fireworks portion of the evening was very short, but that was probably enough explosions, especially for the kids in the crowd. Played (board game): Terraforming Mars. After getting a card for slave labor, I tried to do a heel turn, but it didn’t do me any good and, as usual, Ken dominated.

Played (board game): Sagrada. A much more even game. We all ended up with one space unfilled by the end, although I still lost.
