Read (novel): The Demon Overlord’s Retirement Plan (MH Foster): The demon overlord, who is kind of a cross between an anime demon king and a monotheistic devil, gets sick of laying waste to the world and getting murderized by heroes, so he fakes his death, takes the shape of a henchman of the last hero party, and goes off to a small village to raise and pickle turnips. Village life, as seen through the eyes of a semiomnipotent demon king trying to fake being human, ensues.
