Read (anthology): Under Twin Suns (ed James Chambers): Stories about Carcosa, the King in Yellow, eldritch fascist regimes, etc. Sometimes the characters go to Carcosa, sometimes it comes to them, there are almost always death chambers, and frequently art of some kind. Almost no one comes to a happy end.
